What are the benefits of this product?
ZO® RADICAL REPAIR is a skin treatment containing 1% retinol, vitamins C, E, and A, plant stem cells, glycerin, and herbal extracts. Its formula reduces the appearance of brown spots and other signs of aging, improving skin brightness for a more even tone.
How does this product work?
The main ingredient in ZO® RADICAL REPAIR is high-potency, encapsulated retinol, which peels dead cells from the skin’s surface. This ingredient also stimulates skin cell growth and collagen production from within, which can reduce the appearance of age spots, wrinkles, and other signs of aging. The sichuan pepper fruit extract, sunflower seed oil, and rosemary leaf extract soothe skin irritation, reducing inflammation and redness to give the skin a more youthful tone. Moreover, the glycerin and Plukenetia volubilis seed oil fight dryness, using lipids to help rehydrate the skin and restore the skin barrier. Finally, the vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin A, edelweiss, and Marubium vulgare plant stem cells act as antioxidants, helping to protect skin from damaging free radicals. Together, the ingredients remove dead skin cells, stimulate skin renewal, and protect skin from dryness and damage.

The high concentration of this retinol formula targets UV damage and signs of aging. Your patients should not use this dermal solution if they are allergic or sensitive to any of its ingredients. Moreover, individuals who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking prescription acne drugs should not use this product. If your patients have had recent chemical peels or micro-dermabrasion treatments, they should wait at least 1 week before using this treatment.
Why should I consider this product?
Retinol is one of the best anti-aging ingredients available to effectively counteract dull skin, age spots, and fine lines. Regular application will leave your patient’s skin looking years younger.
Are there any side effects?
Possible side effects can include skin peeling, dryness, skin irritation, and rash. Some initial dryness, irritation, and peeling are normal, and should develop about three to seven days after your patients first use retinol. However, if your patients develop a persistent rash or irritation after this period, they should stop using this product. The ingredients in this ZO® offering may make skin more sensitive to the sun, so patients should use an SPF 30 sunscreen every day and limit their sun exposure during use at home.
